Quickbooks displays the following error message:

"Quickbooks Overflow error during verification -- Data value has exceeded max value allowed".

*overflow* in account balance
An overflow error has occured. One of your accounts has exceeded the maximum value allowed.
LVL_ERROR--Error: Veify Item: Invalid Price. Rcrd - 2345.

Error Description

This error indicates that your Quickbooks company file is damaged. There are several possible causes of the error. First, you may want to try and restart your computer and your database server to see if this resolves the error. If that doesn't work, make sure QuickBooks is configured properly and the computer that hosts the data file is working properly.

Basic Troubleshooting

To fix the error, try one of the following:

• Copy the data file to your desktop, and try to open the file in Quickbooks
• Rename the .TLG file to .TLG1 and restart Quickbooks
• Intuit Support for Overflow Error #1
• Intuit Support for Overflow Error #2

How to Fix this Error?

If you are unable to resolve the error using the basic troubleshooting steps mentioned above, your data file is most likely to be corrupted and will need to be repaired using a Quickbooks Data Recovery Service.
