Data damage and file repair
When a product or file is labeled "for Mac", that means the Apple edition of QuickBooks Desktop, a separate program from the Windows version. Its company files are macOS packages, and they store data differently inside, so a damaged one needs Mac-specific repair rather than the usual Windows tooling. Intuit has since ended the Mac line, which makes upgrading an older file harder. Our engineers repair these files and can also convert them to the Windows format when you prefer that route.
