Import Great Plains Backup

Converting from other software

Converting your Great Plains books to QuickBooks begins with a backup of the underlying database, since Great Plains and Microsoft Dynamics GP are the same product. That backup is a SQL Server file with a .bak extension, made in SQL Server Management Studio: right-click the company database, choose Tasks, then Back Up. You send us the file, we review it at no charge, and a firm quote comes back before any conversion work starts. If the data cannot be converted, you pay nothing.
