Data damage and file repair
When QuickBooks runs its Verify Data check (under the File menu, Utilities) and reports that the verify failed, the check has found structural damage inside the company file. This damage can include broken transaction links or list errors. QuickBooks will usually suggest running Rebuild Data next; if the rebuild succeeds, run verify again to confirm. A file that still fails after a rebuild, or one that will not rebuild at all, needs professional repair. We evaluate such files free of charge before quoting.
