How it works
The conversion process is simple and is outlined below. The Estimated Turnaround time is 2-3 business days on weekdays. We also offer an expedited weekend conversion service (upload your Peachtree company backup at close of business Friday for conversion by Monday morning).- Step 1: Contact us to schedule the conversion. You will receive instructions to securely upload your Peachtree data file.
- Step 2: Locate the Peachtree backup file on your computer and upload it using the instuctions sent to you.
- Step 3: After the conversion is complete, you will receive a download link to download the converted Quickbooks data file. The Quickbooks file will open directly in Quickbooks without the need to do anything else. Also, the Balance Sheet, P&L and Trial Balance will match your Peachtree data.
What to expect after the conversion?
- We will send you back a Quicbooks backup file (QBB) or a Quickbooks Portable file (QBM) that will restore into a new Quickbooks file on your computer. You do not need to do anything in Quickbooks before the conversion.
- We will send you a detailed post-conversion checklist to get you up and running in QuickBooks.
- We will send you a report of transactions that failed to import (in most conversions, 100% of the transactions are converted).
- Sometimes the source Sage 50/Peachtree data file will contain transactions that are allowed in Sage 50/Peachtree but not in QuickBooks. We use standard workarounds to import these transactions into QuickBooks and will send you notes on what you need to do post-conversion to handle such transactions.

- Your list exceeds the maximum number of entries that can be converted to QuickBooks. First, remove unneeded entries from your company file and then re-convert your file.Your list cannot include more that 10,000/14,500 entries.
- The Conversion Tool is unable to convert your software to QuickBooks Simple Start. Please upgrade to QuickBooks Pro or higher.
- The Conversion Tool is unable to determine that Peachtree is installed on this computer.
- Make sure Peachtree is installed on this computer. If Peachtree is installed, run the conversion again with your company file opened in Peachtree.If you have Peachtree 2010 or later version, there is a security option which must be enabled in Peachtree before you can convert your Peachtree company files to QuickBooks. Open Peachtree and follow the steps below:1. Select Maintain->Users->Setup Security...2. Select Crystal Reports/Data Access tab 3. Please choose "anyone" option4. Click close and exit Peachtree.

Which accounting systems can you migrate into QuickBooks?

What carries over in a migration?
Lists (customers, vendors, items, accounts) and transactions are the core of the move. The evaluation of your data file tells you exactly what carries over in your case before you commit.
Do you need my old software or licence to do the migration?
No. Send us the data file and we take it from there - you do not need a working installation of the old system.
How is the migrated file verified?
Against your source reports - trial balance, receivables, payables. The migrated file should reconcile with what your old system reported.
